Alison Schurick joined Biran Kelly in August 2016 as an associate.
Alison graduated with honors in 2011 from the University of Delaware, where she was a member of the national leadership honor society, Omicron Delta Kappa. She then attended the University of Baltimore School of Law and graduated cum laude in 2014. During law school, Alison gained litigation and trial experience as a Rule 16 Attorney in the Saul Ewing Civil Advocacy Clinic; as a law clerk at a general practice law firm in Baltimore; and as an intern with Magistrate Judge Stephanie A. Gallagher in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. Additionally, Alison taught legal research, writing, and appellate advocacy skills to first-year students and served as a research assistant to Professor Charles Tiefer.
Prior to joining the firm, Alison worked as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Michele D. Jaklitsch in the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County.
Alison is a member of the Maryland Bar and co-chairs the Mentoring Committee of the Baltimore City Bar Association’s Young Lawyers’ Division.
